Meet ME @ the library

A program of Maine people, places and ideas

This program is once a month on a Wednesday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. Attendees have previously traveled back in time to when German POWs helped harvest Maine potatoes, "walked along" with  Camino de Santiago pilgrims, listened to local writers' creative works, found about alternative burials in Maine and relaxed with pen and ink Zendoodling.

Wednesday, January, 11 at 1:00 p.m.
Orono Firefighting: Then & Now!
Presented by Deputy Chief Henry Vaughan
Hear how firefighting has changed in the past century from trucks to equipment to sounding the alarm.

We hope you will join us.
